School Counseling Program Mission Statement

The mission of the School Counseling Program at Liberty Elementary School is to provide a supportive environment for instruction by working cooperatively with stakeholders to promote academic, social, and career development. The Professional School Counselor will provide this support through individual, group, and classroom lessons while collaborating with the resources available to ensure student growth in a diverse society.

Goal

The school counseling program will focus on the following: achievement, attendance, behavior and/or school safety goals this year. Details of activities promoting these goals are found in the curriculum, small-group and closing-the-gap action plans. 

Office Hours 

The school counseling office will be open for teachers between 8:00-8:30 am and 4:00-4:30 p.m., or throughout the day if needed and when available. The office is open to parents and students from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
